Pelican Rock

This site is on the west side of the bay. On the sandy bottom at 20 ft, school of barberfish, goatfish and angelfish and all kind of tropical fish move back and forth on the shallow side of Anegada rock. Over the sandy 20 ft ledge at Anegada rock is a wall, which drops down 3,000 ft into a submarine canyon. At 90 ft there is the Sandfalls where at certain times of the year, large amounts of sand build up in shallower depth cascade downwards. Land's End

Years of wind and waves have hollowed out a huge archway through which the waves of the Pacific Ocean break, joining the waters of Sea of Cortez. Giant angular rocks cascade down to depth of 60 ft where there is a sandy bottom. The short walls along the rocks are full of small ledges, which creates homes for large eels, reef fishes, sea turtles alike. In this area the sea lion colony is located. You can have a great fun experience with playful sea lions.

Located 7 miles north of Cabo, made up of large rocks and finger ridges, further out are some deep canyons. The south of this bay is also fringed with large rocks and small caverns. Corals and Sea fans are interspersed among the ridges with tons of tropical fish everywhere.

Blow Hole
Depth : 40 - 100 ft

Access : 30 min by boat

Gets its name from a blow hole in the rocks where a small water surge is forced through a hole in the rock. The backside of this huge formation forms a wall that is filled with twisted crevices, rugged tunnels and deep ravines. Red and Yellow Gorgonians along with Sea fans, cover the area. Hard encrusting coral blankets the Rock. Hogfish, surgeonfish, balloon fish, nurse sharks and sea turtles can be found at this site.
